An unofficial summary of facts (addresses, types, units, scaling) from the maker's manual. Not affiliated with the maker; values can differ by firmware or model. Always check the device manual before writing (run commands, settings).
Default communication
| Protocol | Modbus RTU, Modbus ASCII |
|---|---|
| Baud (factory) | 9600 bps — options: 4800, 9600, 14400, 19200, 38400, 57600 |
| Data · parity · stop | 8 · None · 1 |
| Slave ID (factory) | 1 (1~99) |
| Max per request | 31 registers |
| Manual address style | Wire address as is (0-based) |
- Wire address = the map's 'D-register' column (0-based). The 'Address' column is 1-based (one higher). Evidence: frame examples p.30-36 (PDF 31-37) send SV-1 (D-register 103) as 0x0067; map p.93 (PDF 94) lists SV-1 as Address 104 / D-register 103.
- Factory defaults: protocol PRS = 0 (PC Link STD) — set PRS = 3 for Modbus RTU. 9600 bps (BPS=1), no parity, 1 stop, 8 data, address 1, response delay 0 (p.103-104, PDF 104-105, G.COM default column).
- FC 03 reads up to 31 registers, FC 16 writes up to 32 (p.29, p.35). FC 08 loopback diagnostics also supported. Address 0 = broadcast (no reply). ASCII runs 7-bit, RTU 8-bit (p.28).
- p.38 tells LS/Mitsubishi PLC users to write D0103 as 40103. That is a host-side notation hint; the wire address follows the frame examples above.
Registers (40)
«Wire» is the 0-based address in the request frame (PortDock's «0-based» notation). Value = raw × scale. Table: HR holding register, IR input register, CO coil, DI discrete input. Function codes in hex.

Notes
- Temperature-type values are signed 16-bit integers with DP-P decimals (p.30 example: 0xFC18 = -1000 → -100.0). DP-P depends on input type, so no fixed scale.
- LOCK (D703) text cites '32-34, 703', which match the 1-based Address column (wire 31-33, 702).
- I-registers (p.111) are for PC LINK commands; Modbus FCs (03/06/08/16) cover D-registers only.
Read it with PortDock
- Install the free PortDock Modbus Master and connect with the device's settings.
- On the table toolbar, «Device profile…» → pick this device → «Load». Polling tables, names, types and the Slave ID are filled in (optionally the serial settings too).
- Names carry the unit and scale (e.g. «×0.01 Hz»). Values on screen are raw — multiply by the scale.
- To test your program without the device, PortDock Modbus Slave's «Emulate device…» serves the same map with example values.
