Is it safe?

  • Download only from the GitHub releases page. Do not use copies hosted elsewhere.
  • Every release lists SHA256 hashes and a VirusTotal report. Compare with Get-FileHash in PowerShell.
  • Builds are not code-signed yet, so Windows may show «Windows protected your PC». Click «More info» → «Run anyway». Signing is in progress.
  • The programs never send your traffic anywhere. Error reports are sent only with your permission.

Hash check example:

Get-FileHash .\PortDock-Serial-setup.exe -Algorithm SHA256

Requirements

  • Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
  • Requires Microsoft Edge WebView2 (included in Windows 11). For offline PCs, get the «offline installer» with WebView2 bundled.
  • Installer: installs per user without admin rights. Uninstall from «Settings → Apps».
  • Portable: unzip and run the exe. Settings and reports stay in the portdock-data folder next to it, so you can carry it on a USB stick. Keep it in the same folder to avoid repeated firewall prompts.
